Our Mission

Vision Dance Center provides a vibrant, inclusive, and fun place for our students to build community through the love of dance. Through our innovative artistic team, students will be encouraged and supported through a carefully cultivated curriculum designed with both learning and holistic development in mind.  Our focus is to provide students with a wonderful experience where they can explore their love of dance and to embody our values both in and out of the studio.

Why We're Different

Vision Dance Center is a studio unlike any other. Our dedication to education and providing a high level of care creates an environment where students are free to challenge themselves, learn from mistakes, and grow into their best selves. Every staff member hired to teach at VDC has either received a Bachelor's degree in dance or higher and/or received the necessary certifications for teaching our group fitness classes. With such an experienced and qualified team, we work to prevent injuries, provide an inclusive model to teaching for individuals of varying abilities, and strive to educate our students on the "why" and the "how" behind every movement.

In a VDC class, you can expect not only a fun and engaging dance class, but also an education that extends beyond the classroom. VDC builds its students sense of self, helps students to develop a healthy mindset, and develops them into strong and impactful community change-makers.

Our Unique ApproaCH

Smaller Class Sizes

We keep our class sizes small so that every student can get more attention in class. We don't want any of our students getting lost in the back of a big class. We want every student to have their moment to shine!

A Year-Long Commitment to YOU

Our programs run for the full calendar year! Unlike other studios, VDC extends the opportunity to take classes year-round. No extra fees or costs for camps and no searching last-minute to try and find new things to get involved in. We are committed to you for the full year and are flexible with summer plans and other commitments.

We are building up the next generation of community change-makers at Vision Dance Center. We know that not everyone who attends our classes will remain in the dance industry for the rest of their lives, so we focus on building skills that will help our students wherever life takes them!

Our Story

2002 - 2014

Artistic Director and Owner of Vision Dance Center, Amy, grew up dancing in Bucks County, PA at her mother's dance studio. She saw the positive impact the studio had on the lives of those in the community and all of the care, love, and passion her mom put into it every day. She had been fortunate enough to have dance as a major part of her life when she was diagnosed with Stargardt's Macular Degeneration at the age of 11. This condition, which can lead to blindness, was not going to stop Amy from pursuing her passions. She became more determined  over the course of the next few years to do all she could to succeed in the face of adversity. â€‹

Dance for Students with Special Needs

VDC is dedicated to meeting the needs of each of our unique students. From integrating Universal Design into each of our classes to promote inclusivity in our classrooms to providing day classes specifically for adults with disabilities, we work to be advocates for those with disabilities in our community.

"The students have been so excited to go to dance class and have been having a lot of fun in the sessions. Amy does such a great job with the different age groups and makes sure all the students are engaged!"
